Details: Today, Porto's official page on social network X published a post announcing the official introduction of 36-year-old Francesco Farioli as the team's new head coach.
It is reported that the contract runs until 2027, and Francesco will soon begin his duties and start preparing the squad for the new season.
Despite his relatively young age for a manager, Farioli has previously led renowned clubs such as Nice, Karagümrük, and Alanyaspor, and last season he was at the helm of Ajax Amsterdam, guiding them to silver medals after finishing just one point behind PSV in the league table.
Earlier, the club announced that the contract with former head coach Martin Anselmi had been officially terminated, leaving the "Dragons" managerial seat vacant until today.
