The position of Porto's head coach remained vacant for a short period. Today, the club officially announced the name of their new manager.
A two-year contract has been signed with 41-year-old Portuguese Vítor Bruno.
This will be Vítor Bruno's first experience as a head coach. Previously, he was an assistant to Sérgio Conceição at Porto, Nantes, Vitória Guimarães, Braga, and Olhanense.
Sérgio Conceição had managed Porto for the past seven years but left the club following a change in presidency.
Last season, Porto finished only in third place in the Primeira Liga, which means the "Dragons" will not participate in the 2024/25 Champions League.
