PSG has run into an unexpected obstacle in their bid to celebrate yet another league title.

Details: According to L'Equipe, the Paris police prefecture has rejected the club's request to hold a celebratory ceremony. The Parisian management had planned to stage a large-scale event immediately after the upcoming match against Paris at the Parc des Princes stadium.

Despite the club's hopes to share their triumph with fans on home soil, law enforcement deemed the event either unsafe or inappropriate under current circumstances. This decision dealt a significant blow to the capital club's plans for a full-scale show to mark their gold medal achievement.

At this stage, it remains unclear whether PSG will attempt to appeal the decision or reschedule the celebration for another date and location.

Recall: Luis Enrique has named PSG's top transfer target for the summer – Atlético striker Julián Álvarez.
