Reports indicate that, considering the extremely tough negotiations with Manchester City and the likely signing of Bernardo Silva, Madrid have stopped counting on Rodri.
Previously, Real president Florentino Pérez had identified Rodri as the club's main target for the summer transfer window, but now "Los Blancos" have shifted their focus to different plans in the market.
This season, Rodri made just 33 appearances for Manchester City due to frequent and serious injuries. His contract with the "Citizens" runs until the summer of 2027, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €50 million.
