Plan B for €100 million! Arsenal turn to Juventus jewel after Vinicius heartbreak
Arsenal have moved on from the Vinicius dream and found a new obsession in Turin.
Details: According to Tribalfootball, Arsenal have identified Kenan Yildiz as their new target after missing out on Vinicius Jr. The Juventus star is being considered for the left side of Arteta's attack, with a deal potentially costing more than €100 million.
The Vinicius chapter closed earlier this month when the Brazilian signed a new Real Madrid contract until 2032, leaving the Premier League champions scrambling for alternatives. Arsenal actually approached Juventus for Yildiz back in June and were told he was not for sale, and the Italians have stood firm ever since, demanding an offer well above €100 million.
Yildiz, 21, wears the iconic number 10 shirt in Turin and renewed his contract until 2030 in February, scoring 10 goals and adding 6 assists in Serie A last season. It's worth noting that Arsenal have already signed Tzolis, Guimaraes and Meslier this summer, but Arteta is determined to land one more elite left-sided forward before the window shuts.
Reminder: Boom! Arsenal snatch England star in €58m deal.
