PFA announces nominees for player of the season in English football

The Professional Footballers' Association has announced the six contenders for the Player of the Season award in English football. The shortlist has now been revealed.
Details: Liverpool boasts the most nominees, with Mohamed Salah—who was previously named the Premier League Player of the Season—and Alexis Mac Allister both making the cut. Each of the other clubs is represented by just one player.
The shortlist also includes Declan Rice from Arsenal, Cole Palmer from Chelsea, Alexander Isak from Newcastle, and... Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United. The winner will be unveiled at the PFA ceremony on August 19 in Manchester. The current PFA Player of the Year is Manchester City's forward Cole Palmer.
Reminder: Earlier, the PFA announced the six nominees for the Young Player of the Season award in English football. Among the nominees is a player from Real Madrid.
