In total, he played 494 matches in all competitions for Chelsea and 139 matches for Arsenal. In 2019, he retired from professional football and began playing hockey, which was his dream.

The Belfast Giants became the fourth club in the hockey career of the legendary footballer. Cech also played for Guildford Phoenix and Chelmsford Chieftains.
