José Peseiro, the new head coach of Zamalek, said he was thrilled to be in charge of the Egyptian team and emphasized his desire to win titles and play attractive football.
"Zamalek is a massive club in Egypt and Africa," Peseiro remarked in an interview with the club's media staff. I came here to succeed and win titles.
Zamalek approached him for the first time, the Portuguese coach disclosed, and he accepted because he thinks the squad has potential.
"He is a great friend, just like José Gomes and Rui Vitória," Peseiro said, referring to his close bond with José Mourinho. Mourinho wished me luck and complimented me on the position.

He wants to emulate José Gomes and Jesualdo Ferreira, two other Portuguese coaches who had successful stints with Zamalek.
Peseiro listed his three primary goals: taking home championships, playing visually appealing football, and inspiring the supporters with an exciting style.
In Matchweek 14 of the Egyptian Premier League, Zamalek will play Petrojet on Sunday to begin the Peseiro era. The coach urged the supporters to cheer for the team, saying he would do everything in his power to make them happy.
