Details: The incredible stats show that the 25-year-old Norwegian national team and Manchester City goal machine, Erling Haaland, has not been caught offside a single time this season. In fact, during his entire Premier League career, he’s only been flagged offside 18 times over nearly four years.

Haaland himself admits this achievement is the result of years of dedicated training, which he has been doing since he was 13:

“Since I joined City, I’ve been offside 18 times. 18 times in three and a half years—that’s decent, I think. It’s part of my game: I hate being offside. I think VAR has helped me even more, because I have to make decisions, it’s simple. I’ve been working on this since I was 13 at Bryne.” Haaland said.

Haaland moved to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, and his stats for the Citizens are simply staggering: 160 matches, 142 goals, and 22 assists. He also became the first player in Champions League history to score 50 goals in just 49 appearances.

His current contract with City runs until 2034, and his transfer value is estimated at €180 million by Transfermarkt.
