Pep Guardiola responded to whether Manchester City is trying to extend De Bruyne's contract

The future of Kevin De Bruyne at Manchester City remains uncertain, as his contract is set to expire next summer. Questions about this were also directed at coach Pep Guardiola.

Details: According to the Spanish specialist, he doesn’t know whether the Manchester City board has made any progress in negotiations for a new deal with midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

However, we reported yesterday that the reigning English champions are indeed preparing a contract extension offer to retain their leader and prevent a potential move next summer.

Throughout his career with the Citizens, De Bruyne has played nearly 400 matches, scored over a hundred goals, and contributed a substantial number of assists. Despite recent health issues, the club continues to consider him a key player.

Reminder: In the latest round of the English Premier League, Manchester City suffered a 1-2 away loss to Bournemouth.
