Former lightweight world champion, Devin Haney, revealed that he faces a daily dose of criticism from boxing fans. The renowned fighter has learned to ignore the hate and even turn it to his advantage.

“At the end of the day, you know, people love to hate me. I mean, I embrace it now because what can I do? I’m me. You know, it wouldn’t be right if they did it any other way. So, it is what it is. They hate the greats and then after they respect them and they applaud them. So, they can say what they wanna say. I know what type of fighter I am, secure in myself and Imma keep beating whoever they put in front of me, one by one”, - told Devin.

Devin's last fight took place in May this year. He secured a victory over Vasiliy Lomachenko by unanimous decision, becoming the first-ever undisputed world champion who successfully defended four titles twice.

On December 9, the American will fight against WBC champion at junior welterweight, Regis Prograis. Devin stated that he plans to relinquish his WBA, IBF, and WBO lightweight belts after the fight, aiming to move up to another division.
