Panama goalkeeper Orlando Mosquera on the friendly against Bafana Bafana tomorrow: We will be better than we were in the first game last Friday
Orlando Mosquera feels Panama have a good chance of playing better against Bafana Bafana in tomorrow’s match than what they dished out last Friday night.
Mosquera’s Panama are in the country for two friendly games South Africa’s Bafana Bafana and already played to a 1-1 draw three days ago at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Yoel Barcenas netted the opener for Thomas Christiansen’s team while Oswin Appollis equalised for Hugo Broos’ Bafana.
"Personally, I felt good, since playing with the national team again makes you feel very happy, but the feeling within the group is 50/50,” said Mosquera, who came into the match as a substituted following an injury to first choice goalminder Luis Mejia.
"We took away some positive things, but we didn't play the game we usually do; we struggled a bit. In the end, that's what these games are for—to prepare us—and I'm sure we'll do better in the second one."
