Panama coach Thoman Christiansen on Bafana Bafana striker Lyle Foster: He is a top player who needs to be supported by good midfielders

Lyle Foster is a top player.

He is world class.

The Burnley forward just needs to be serviced well at Bafana Bafana and he will start scoring.

This is how Panama coach, Thomas Christiansen, sees the Bafana striker having seen him when his side played 1-1 against South Africa last Friday at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

“I don’t like to comment directly on one player, but there are a lot of players important,” said Christiansen yesterday ahead of tonight’s last friendly match at Cape Town Stadium.

“Of course, if you speak about the level in their clubs, then Foster is the top. But he also has to be assisted, and he has good players there.”

“I can tell you about the striker, the wingers, the potential that they have, the good manage of the ball in the midfield.”
