The match itself ended with a narrow 1-0 win for Los Colchoneros, with the only—and game-winning—goal scored thanks to the involvement of the man of the hour. Fittingly, in his farewell home fixture, Griezmann once again showcased his world-class quality, providing the assist that secured three points for Madrid.
