Ousmane Dembele etched his name into PSG history, showcasing a stellar performance in the Champions League semi-final showdown.
Details: According to Squawka, by scoring and providing an assist against Bayern, the French winger became just the second player in the Paris club’s history to register both a goal and an assist at such an advanced stage of the competition.
Until today, Angel Di Maria was the only PSG player to achieve this feat in a Champions League semi-final.
The Argentine set this record back in August 2020, when the Parisians outclassed RB Leipzig in dominant fashion to reach the tournament final for the first time in their history.
As of the 50th minute, the Parisians are still leading 3-2.
Reminder: The referee awarded a penalty for Davies’ handball, despite the ball having deflected off his body.
