Henry believes that yesterday's match between PSG and Bayern, which ended in a 5-4 goal-fest in favor of PSG, didn't resemble a Champions League semi-final but rather looked like street football:
"You can't call it great football just because there were nine goals.
It didn't look like a Champions League semi-final; it looked like street football. I don't need a 5-4 scoreline; I want a 1-0 game where the defense actually defends.
It may be spectacular, but the essence of the game is in control, discipline, and collective responsibility. This is a bit like TikTok football: everyone is chasing moments, flashy highlights, and numbers." – said Henry.
The return leg between Bayern and PSG will take place on May 6 at the Allianz Arena.
