Details: Seven-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan saw his pursuit of the trophy end in the round of 32.

O'Sullivan was defeated by Chinese player Junxu Pan, who is ranked only 26th in the world, while O'Sullivan entered the match holding the fifth position.

At the start of the game, the two exchanged frame wins, but the Chinese player managed to pull ahead 4-2. O'Sullivan leveled the score but was unable to sustain the momentum, eventually losing 4-6.
