Osimhen's coveted club have dropped out of the race for the Napoli starlet
Napoli attacking leader Victor Osimhen has long been linked with leaving Napoli, but the club the Nigerian wanted to move to no longer want him themselves.
According to Sky Sports, PSG, who were interested in the forward, are now making no attempt to sign Osimhen. This is due to two factors.
Firstly, PSG have already signed players worth around €150 million in the summer transfer window. Secondly, the price that Napoli asked for the Nigerian. It forced the Parisians to move on to other options.
True, PSG may move to sign a new forward after the injury to Gonzalo Ramos, but the latter was not Luis Enrique's main choice anyway, and if a new signing is to be considered by the Parisians, Osimhen will not be on the list of potential replacements for Ramos.
The Nigerian was previously thought to favour a move to PSG over Premier League clubs who have shown interest in him.
