Next week, club football will pause for the final international break of 2024, bringing a full slate of UEFA Nations League fixtures. European teams are finalizing their squads, and Germany is the first top team to announce its roster.

Details: For the upcoming matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary, Germany’s head coach Julian Nagelsmann has called up one debutant—Manchester City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.

Germany Squad

  • Goalkeepers: Oliver Baumann (Hoffenheim), Alexander Nübel (Stuttgart), Stefan Ortega (Manchester City)
  • Defenders: Robin Gosens (Fiorentina), Benjamin Henrichs (RB Leipzig), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich), Robin Koch (Eintracht Frankfurt), Maximilian Mittelstädt (Stuttgart), Antonio Rüdiger (Real Madrid), Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund), Jonathan Tah (Bayer Leverkusen)
