Orlando Pirates' confirmatio9n of Tshegofatso Mabasa departure confirms the striker's potential move to chief rivals in Kaizer Chiefs.
The former Moroka Swallows, Sekhukhune United and Bloemfontein Celtic marksman is heavily linked with a move to Chiefs, but uncertainty clouded that move as Pirates were thought to be interested in retaining his services.
Infact that Pirates had not indicated what decision they taking on Mabasa created more uncertainty regarding his future but now that is over, Mabasa is likely to move to Chiefs.
It is rather a shocking turn of events for Mabasa to leave the Sea Robbers as he has not let the team down whenever on the Orlando Amstel Arena turf.
He has also broken the history books at the club by reaching 50 goals in his five year stay there.
But this season he spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Stellenbosch FC as he sought to gain some game time.
While he as not publicly stated where his future lies, Naturena is one base he is headed to now that his departure from Pirates is confirmed.
