Orlando Pirates discloses Relebohile Mofokeng's promise to the team before departure

Relebohile Mofokeng parked a move away from Orlando Pirates to buy time to win the PSL title with the Sea Robbers.

Mofokeng, who now plays for St Gilloise in Belgium, was a wanted man two seasons ago but declined a move so he can win the PSL title with the team.

And he duly did as they also won the MTN8 and the Carling Knockout Cup.

“In his own words: “Chairman, I am not worried about overseas now. I want to give it my all this season and try win this league for the club. This is my only focus right now. If overseas happens after that, then good but for now, let me do all I can to make the supporters happy,” reads a statement from Pirates.

Now the player has finally made the move to Belgium, he will be expected to continue with his great form having also display admirable football for Bafana Bafana at the World Cup.
