Orbit College to face Orlando Pirates at Mbombela Stadium in the final PSL match on May 23

Orbit College have secured Mbombela Stadium as the venue where they will face Orlando Pirates on May 23.

The PSL side have not been able to host teams of Pirates magnitude at their base at Olympia Park because of safety reasons.

Orbit played Mamelodi Sundowns at Olympia Park, in a game which saw spectators gain entry at the venue for free.

And the game against Pirates is of great significance this season as it may see Pirates being crown Betway Premiership champions.

The Sea Robbers face Durban City this Saturday where they are expected to go level on points with Mamelodi Sundowns, 68, as Pirates are on 65.

Pirates have a superior goal difference to Sundowns and a win against Durban City may see them clinch the title.

So the game against Orbit College in a week's time does need a proper venue.

Orbit could not secure Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace - as its under renovation - to host Pirates.

But now Mbombela Stadium has been to secured for the game which could potentially be the setting for the crowing of this season's champions.
