British driver Lewis Hamilton is concluding his long career with the Mercedes team and will race for Ferrari next year. He will receive a unique privilege from his new team.

Details: According to Sky Sports Italia, Hamilton will become the first driver since Michael Schumacher to live in the house of the Italian team’s founder, Enzo Ferrari. Schumacher was the only driver to enjoy this privilege.

Quote: "Lewis Hamilton’s first day at Ferrari is already set, but the date remains an absolute secret. Lewis’s home in Maranello will be Enzo Ferrari’s house. Until now, only one driver – Michael Schumacher – had this privilege," the statement reads.

Notably, Hamilton will be the only driver among those changing teams who will not participate in post-season testing with his new team.

Reminder: We recently reported that Mick Schumacher, son of legendary Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher, shared how his father’s injury has affected his life and how he continues to follow his father’s advice in his career.
