One step away from a transfer: Axel Disasi reaches agreement with West Ham

The deal is set to become official soon.

Details: According to insider and journalist Nicolo Schira on his X social media page, the transfer of 27-year-old Chelsea center-back Axel Disasi to West Ham is in its final stages.

It is reported that Disasi will join the Hammers on loan until the end of the season. Whether West Ham will have an option to buy the player outright remains unknown.

Both parties have already settled all the details of the agreement, and the paperwork is now being prepared for the official signing.

Disasi joined Chelsea from Monaco in 2023 for €45 million, but he failed to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup, making only 61 appearances for the Blues, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists.

He spent half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, but featured in just 10 matches there.

This season, Axel Disasi has played 3 matches for Chelsea but has yet to register a goal or assist.
