Here we go! Lucas Paquetá moves to Flamengo

Lucas Paquetá's career in England has come to an end.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, the 28-year-old West Ham attacking midfielder, Lucas Paquetá, will soon officially become a new Flamengo player.

Reports say Flamengo will pay West Ham €42 million, with Paquetá himself set to sign a five-year contract with the Brazilian giants.

Paquetá is a product of Flamengo's youth system. He left his boyhood club in 2019 to join AC Milan for €38.4 million, then moved to West Ham from Lyon in 2022 for €43 million.

Lucas made 139 appearances for the Hammers, scoring 23 goals and providing 15 assists. His current contract with West Ham runs until 2027, and, according to Transfermarkt, his market value stands at €35 million.
