"One of the most intriguing coaches in Europe," Bayern Munich's sporting director on Kompany
Bayern Munich has officially introduced their new head coach for the upcoming season - Vincent Kompany.
During the club's press conference, sporting director Max Eberl stated that they have found one of the most intriguing coaches in Europe at the moment. Both sides felt they wanted to work together and accomplish this task. Burnley didn't want to let the Belgian go.
"I imagine that we, as a club, stand behind our coach. We have a young coach with an incredible personality. Right now, we are taking a risk. We will again show unity. We will also go through valleys. The valley in Bayern is defeat," Eberl said.
Kompany himself mentioned that he knows and feels the support from the management and is confident that he can achieve success with Bayern Munich.
It is worth noting that Kompany signed a three-year contract with one of the giants of German football. As reported by insider Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich paid a compensation fee of 12 million to Burnley.
