Bayern Munich management has decided on a new head coach for next season. The first team will be headed by Belgian specialist Vincent Kompany.

The contract with Kompany one of the giants of German soccer signed for three years. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich paid 12 million in compensation to Burnley.

The Belgian specialist is eagerly anticipating the start of a new chapter in his career with the German giant.

Vincent Kompany is a legendary Belgian defender of Congolese origin. The former captain of Man City besides the English club played for Anderlecht and Hamburg. When Kompany was 17 years old, he made his debut for the Belgian national team and played a total of 89 matches for the main team of his country.

Kompany began his coaching career in 2019 when he took charge of Anderlecht. Before the start of the 2022/2023 season, the coach moved to Burnley, won the Championship in one season, and Vincent won the title of the best coach of the year.

In the Premier League, Burnley under Kompany lasted only one season and finished in penultimate place.

As a coach, Kompany has so far won only the Championship with Burnley and played in the Belgian Cup final with Anderlecht. When Vincent Kompany was a player, he won the Belgian Pro League twice and four times the EPL.

Recall that last season Bayern spent under the leadership of Thomas Tuchel. Together with Tuchel, the "recordmaster" took third place in the Bundesliga and reached the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.
