One of the best coaches in history is thrilled with Xabi Alonso's work

Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, shared his impressions of the work done by Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen.

“Wow! The job he’s doing, fantastic. The only team unbeaten, fighting with Bayern. Now it’s the most important part of the season.They cannot win the Bundesliga, they can lose it… because everybody thinks it’s done!”.

It's worth noting that Xabi Alonso previously played under Guardiola's guidance as part of Bayern Munich.

Bayer has not suffered a defeat in 33 consecutive matches across all competitions this season, setting a record in German football history. The "Pharmacists" are currently 8 points adrift of Bayern in the Bundesliga.
