Thankfully, the man's life is not in danger at this moment.

Details: According to Weszlo, yesterday in Naples during the 26th round of Serie A, a married couple was watching the game on TV at home, but what started as a shared viewing almost ended in disaster.

Sources report that when referee Daniele Chiffi awarded a penalty to Napoli against Atalanta, the home fans erupted with joy—only for VAR to intervene and overturn the spot-kick, crushing their hopes.

The referee's decision sent the 40-year-old Napoli supporter into a furious outburst, hurling curses and insults at the screen. His 35-year-old wife, sitting nearby, thought the tirade was aimed at her. First, she ordered her husband to leave the room; when he refused, she grabbed a pair of scissors and threw them at him.

Fortunately, her aim was off, but she still couldn't calm down. The 35-year-old woman dashed to the kitchen, grabbed a couple of knives, and managed to injure her husband with one of them.

Bleeding, the man called the police and an ambulance. When officers arrived, they detained the woman and found several more knives in her purse during a search.

Currently, the man is in the hospital and his life is not at risk. As for the woman, she will have to seriously reflect on her actions.

The match itself ended 2-1 in favor of Atalanta, a result that dealt another blow to the wounded fan's ambitions.

Reminder: Amid Manchester United interest, Napoli prepares new contract for McTominay until 2030
