On Sunday, February 16, the final group-stage games of the ice hockey tournament at the 2026 Olympic Games were completed, confirming all playoff participants — and, crucially, the matchups.
Details: At the Olympics, all 12 teams advance to the knockout stage, but four of them move directly into the quarterfinals — Canada, the United States, Slovakia and Finland. The remaining sides will compete in the preliminary playoff round.

- Czechia – Denmark
- Sweden – Latvia
- Germany – France
- Switzerland – Italy
These preliminary playoff games will be played on Tuesday, February 17. The quarterfinal pairings will then be determined.
