A bout between Lawrence Okolie and Richard Riakporhe was set to take place in Manchester, but it will not happen.

Details: According to Ring, the fight has been canceled. The reason is that Okolie sustained an injury and won't recover in time for the bout. Incidentally, this fight was supposed to be on the undercard of the Joe Joyce and Dillian Whyte fight, but Dillian also suffered an injury, leading to its cancellation as well.

It is worth noting that in December 2024, Okolie knocked out Germany's Hussein Muhamed. Riakporhe lost his last championship fight to Chris Billam-Smith.

Reminder: The WBO has mandated the Ukrainian boxer to fight Joseph Parker. WBO President Gustavo Olivieri stated that the parties have 30 days to negotiate the bout.

Alexander Usyk and Daniel Dubois' rematch for the title of undisputed world heavyweight champion could take place at London's Wembley Stadium.
