"Oh, what happened to Haaland?" - Pep Guardiola reflects on Haaland's form
Guardiola believes that Haaland is facing overwhelming pressure.
Details: Ahead of today's Matchweek 26 Premier League clash against Fulham, Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola responded to a journalist's question regarding the form of the team's main goal scorer, Erling Haaland.

At the moment, Haaland's scoring numbers are not as prolific as usual for a player of his caliber. However, Guardiola sees the situation differently:
"The problem with Haaland is that he has to deal with expectations. For many, it's not easy to handle that for many, many years... That's his challenge. When people expect five goals from you, you can push yourself to deliver more. But when those expectations rise, and everyone is waiting for a treble because he scored—I don't even know how many goals—in his first season...
And when he doesn't score in four or five matches, everyone says: 'Oh, what happened to Haaland?!' He needs to stay fresh, happy, and positive, not overthink things. If he misses, he misses. He's always had chances... It's not like in the matches where he didn't score, he didn't have opportunities." Guardiola stated.
This season, Erling Haaland has played 36 matches for Manchester City, scoring 28 goals and providing 6 assists. At the moment, the Norwegian leads the Premier League Golden Boot race with 21 goals after 25 rounds.
Reminder: A sensational finale! Referee disallows Cherki's midfield goal and sends off Szoboszlai for blatant foul on Haaland
