Today, it became known that Chelsea and Ivory Coast national team forward, David Datro Fofana, has joined Burnley on a loan deal. In response to this, Fofana's new club prepared a playful video presentation for the player.

David Datro Fofana has attracted scouts' attention from France, Belgium, and Norway since his childhood. In February 2021, he signed a four-year contract with Molde. In his very first game for the new team, he scored a goal against Hoffenheim in a Europa League match, helping the team advance to the next stage.

Last year, during the winter transfer window, Chelsea acquired the rights to the forward from Molde for €12 million, and he made his debut for the Blues just a week later in an FA Cup match against Manchester City. However, he only played three times for the first team, accumulating a total of 70 minutes. He also appeared twice for Chelsea's U21 team, scoring one goal.

In the summer, he moved to Union Berlin on loan. For the German club, he played seventeen matches, scoring two goals. However, a few days ago, it was announced that Chelsea is recalling the player early. Following this, the loan to Burnley was announced.

At present, Burnley resides in the penultimate, nineteenth position in the Premier League, trailing Everton, currently positioned beyond the relegation zone, by a margin of four points. In the ongoing season, Fofana's nascent club has triumphed merely thrice in 21 encounters, having similarly drawn an equal number of matches.
