Barcelona has officially completed the transfer of Spanish midfielder Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig.
The club's official channels reported that the player has signed a six-year contract, extending until 2030. The contract also includes a release clause set at €500 million. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona will pay €55 million plus €7 million in bonuses for Olmo's transfer.
Additionally, the Catalan side has released a video presentation of the player.
Olmo is a product of Barcelona's youth academy. However, at the age of 16, he moved to Dinamo Zagreb's academy. In the winter of 2020, he transferred to RB Leipzig, where he made 148 appearances, scoring 29 goals and providing 34 assists.
During Spain's triumphant UEFA Euro 2024 campaign, Dani Olmo scored 3 goals and contributed 2 assists.
