Official: The Spanish Super Cup schedule in Istanbul has been confirmed

Spanish football's first major trophy of 2027 now has its key dates locked in.

Details: The schedule for the 2027 Spanish Super Cup in Istanbul has been confirmed. The two semi-finals will take place on February 2 and 3, while the decisive match for the trophy is scheduled for February 6. The tournament will be staged at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

Four Spanish giants will fight for the trophy: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad and Atlético Madrid. The semi-final pairings had already been determined, with Barcelona facing Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid taking on Real Sociedad.

• Final: February 6, 2027

The 2027 edition will be unusual for the competition, which is moving away from Saudi Arabia for one year. The change of venue is connected with Saudi Arabia hosting the AFC Asian Cup during the same period. The Spanish Super Cup is expected to return to Saudi Arabia in 2028.

It is worth noting that Barcelona are the defending Spanish Super Cup champions. The Catalan club defeated Real Madrid 3-2 in the 2026 final and have won the tournament in each of the last two editions.
