The transfer has been officially completed.
Details: Today, Aston Villa's official page on social network X announced that 28-year-old English forward Tammy Abraham has officially joined the team.
It is reported that Villa managed to reach an agreement with Roma, despite the fact that the player was on loan at Turkish side Beşiktaş and was expected to join the "Istanbul Eagles" on a permanent deal this summer.
Aston Villa paid around 21 million euros for Abraham's transfer, and the contract length will be announced later.
Previously, in the 2018/19 season, he played for Aston Villa on loan, but after his loan spell ended, he returned to Chelsea—the club that owned his rights.
This season, Tammy Abraham made 26 appearances for Beşiktaş, scoring 13 goals and providing 3 assists.
According to Transfermarkt, his current market value stands at 14 million euros.
