Despite strong interest from England, PSG are reluctant to part ways with Mbaye. His contract runs until 2028, but the Parisians might even offer him a new deal to keep him at the club.

On the international stage, he helped Senegal clinch the Africa Cup of Nations title, contributing a goal and two assists in six matches (170 minutes), mostly coming off the bench.
