Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri has transferred from Sevilla to José Mourinho's team, Fenerbahçe.
The Turkish club announced on their official website that they had reached an agreement with the Spanish team and the player. En-Nesyri has signed a five-year contract.
"Welcome to Fenerbahçe, the greatest sports club in the world. We wish you many championship titles under our emblem," the club stated.
Previously, there were reports that En-Nesyri had rejected offers from Fenerbahçe and Saudi Pro League newcomer Al-Qadisiyah. There were also rumors that he would continue his career in Italy.
Additionally, Fenerbahçe defeated Lugano in the first match of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. In this game, Edin Džeko scored a hat-trick, marking José Mourinho's first official victory with the team.
