Džeko's hat-trick. Mourinho secures a resplendent victory in his first official match for Fenerbahçe

In the second round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, Fenerbahçe visited Lugano. This match marked José Mourinho's first official game in charge of the Turkish team.
Early in the match, the hosts opened the scoring in the fourth minute. However, in the dying moments of the first half, Fenerbahçe equalized, courtesy of Edin Džeko. Immediately after the break, Džeko completed his brace, putting the Turkish side ahead. Nonetheless, Lugano leveled the score again in the 64th minute.
Just three minutes later, Edin Džeko secured his hat-trick. In the 74th minute, Fenerbahçe netted their fourth goal. Despite this, they couldn't maintain the two-goal lead, as Lugano scored their third in the final moments, ending the match at 4-3.
Thus, José Mourinho achieved his first official victory as the head coach of Fenerbahçe. The return leg is scheduled for July 30th.
