Orlando Pirates have decided to strengthen the squad ahead of the upcoming season by bringing in a new central player.
Details: As officially announced on Orlando Pirates’ platforms, Sifiso Mbule has signed a contract with the club.
As previously reported, Mamelodi Sundowns decided not to extend the contract of midfielder Sifiso Mbule. They also opted against renewing the deal with defensive midfielder Rivaldo Coetzee.
It’s clear that Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will look to lure the experienced Sundowns midfielders into their ranks.
Reminder: In the 2024/25 season, Mbule and Coetzee made a combined total of just 22 appearances — a figure that clearly did not satisfy the Mamelodi Sundowns management.
