Official: Orlando Pirates bid farewell to two players

The summer off-season is the perfect time to refresh the squad—and that's exactly what Orlando Pirates have set out to do.
Details: The reigning runners-up of South Africa have announced the departure of two full-backs: Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane. The club has not disclosed the terms of their exits, but the Pirates expressed gratitude for their contributions to the team and wished them the best in their future careers.
Reminder: The 31-year-old Mako has been with Orlando Pirates since 2018 and featured in 26 matches last season, accumulating a total of 1,307 minutes on the pitch.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Monyane is a product of the club's academy, but saw less game time under José Riveiro last season, clocking 761 minutes across 12 appearances for Orlando Pirates.
