Official: Nigerian Midfielder Efe Lucky Loaned to Åsane Fotball

Promising Nigerian talent Efe Kegbe Lucky is set for a new challenge. The 19-year-old midfielder has joined Åsane Fotball on loan from Lillestrøm SK until December 31, 2025, the Norwegian club officially confirmed.

Currently under contract with Lillestrøm until 2028, Efe Lucky will use this opportunity to gain regular playing time and continue his development in a competitive environment he’s already familiar with.

“Efe has shown great progress,” said sporting director Simon Mesfin.
“We have a lot of depth in midfield, and this move will allow him to get valuable minutes and grow. It’s the right decision for both the club and the player.”

The move is seen as a key step in the Nigerian youngster’s growth, with hopes that he returns to Lillestrøm ready to compete for a spot in the first team.
