OFFICIAL. Man City announce the move for Brazil winger

The highly anticipated transfer announced at the end of last season has now been officially confirmed!

Young midfielder Savio has joined Manchester City from Troyes for £21 million plus bonuses that could increase the total fee to £33 million.

The 20-year-old Brazilian signed a contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2029.

Last season, Savio had an impressive stint on loan at Girona, where he scored 9 goals and provided 10 assists in 37 La Liga matches.

It's worth noting that both Troyes and Girona are part of the City Football Group, which means they are owned by the same entity as Manchester City.

In March of this year, Savio made his debut for the Brazilian national team and participated in the Copa America 2024. He has 7 caps and 1 goal for the five-time world champions.
