Details: Following the announcement of Xabi Alonso's dismissal, Real Madrid’s official page on social network X also confirmed that 42-year-old Álvaro Arbeloa has officially been named the new head coach of the Galácticos.
Álvaro Arbeloa has been part of Real Madrid’s coaching setup since 2020, leading the club’s youth sides, including Real Madrid U-19 and Real Madrid Castilla.
Arbeloa is a true Real Madrid legend, having spent the majority of his playing career with Los Blancos. Now, the Spaniard continues to prove his loyalty to Madrid, this time from the dugout.
