The club's management decided not to wait for the previous contract to expire and significantly improved the financial terms for the player.
It's worth noting that the 23-year-old Dutchman joined Anfield from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023 for €40 million. Since then, his progress has been remarkable: this season, Ryan is in outstanding form, already featuring in 36 matches across all competitions. The midfielder has tallied 4 goals and 6 assists so far.
Reminder: Liverpool is ready to splash €80 million on Nottingham defender Murillo.
