A whole chapter has officially come to a close in Italy's Serie A.

Details: Lazio and head coach Maurizio Sarri have mutually agreed to terminate their contract. The Roman club's press service has already issued an official farewell statement:

“Thank you for everything, Comandante.” - the club wrote.

However, the experienced tactician won't be out of work for long. According to Nicolo Schira, Sarri is set to become the new head coach of Atalanta. Sarri accepted the Bergamo club's offer immediately, as the management sees him as the perfect successor to carry on their footballing philosophy both domestically and in Europe.

Reminder: Former Italy national team head coach Gennaro Gattuso will take charge at Lazio.
