Details: Today, the official Marumo Gallants club page on X broke the news of Lafitte Alexandre's appointment as the team's new head coach.
The Gallants' management had been in negotiations with Lafitte for over a week, and now the deal is finally signed. The club's bosses were impressed by the achievements of the 28-year-old Frenchman, who clinched the Ivorian Championship with Stade Abidjan in his coaching debut—ending a 56-year title drought for the club.
Recently, Marumo Gallants were led by Abdeslam Ouaddou, but his tenure lasted less than three months, forcing the management to search for a new coach.
