Jonathan Tah will indeed be available to play in the Club World Cup.
Details: Today, Bayern Munich's official website announced that the 29-year-old, formerly a central defender for Bayer Leverkusen, has signed a contract with the Munich side.
Negotiations lasted several days, with the main sticking point being whether Bayer would allow Jonathan to leave before his contract expired so that he could be registered for the Club World Cup as part of Bayern's squad.
Jonathan Tah's contract with his new club will take effect at the start of the tournament and will run until 2029. His agreement with Bayer will be terminated early.
Recall: FIFA will pay Bayern compensation for Davies' injury while on duty with the Canadian national team.
