Jérémy Doku is set to link his future with Manchester City for the long term.

Details: Manchester City have officially announced the contract extension of the 24-year-old Belgian winger. The new deal is set for five years and will keep him at the club until the summer of 2031.

Doku joined Manchester City from Rennes in the summer of 2023. Since then, the Belgian has featured in 131 matches for the English club, scoring 22 goals. Together with the team, he has claimed five trophies.

The player himself admitted that the decision to stay was an easy one. Doku emphasized that he feels he’s progressing at Manchester City and is looking forward to the new season under Enzo Maresca with great enthusiasm.

Last season was particularly impressive for the winger: in the 2025/26 campaign, he played 47 matches across all competitions, netting 8 goals and providing 14 assists.

At the 2026 World Cup, Doku made 5 appearances for Belgium, playing a total of 311 minutes, but was unable to register a goal or assist. The Belgians reached the quarterfinals, where they were edged out by Spain 2-1.
