OFFICIAL. It has been confirmed whether Ronaldo is included in the squad for the match against Al-Ittihad

In the 21st round of the Saudi Pro League, we are set for a clash between Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad. The main question surrounding the fixture was whether Cristiano Ronaldo would take part.

Details: As became clear after the announcement of the starting line-up for this match, the Portuguese forward will not feature. He has been left out of the squad for the game.

Recall, it all began when the Al-Nassr forward openly clashed with authorities, going on strike and missing his team's last match against Al-Riyadh. Ronaldo is extremely unhappy with the transfer policy of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF). The Portuguese superstar believes the fund is artificially strengthening Al-Hilal's rivals while ignoring the interests of his club.

Reminder: an official representative of the Saudi Pro League made a sharp statement, effectively putting the player in his place.
